They are looked to hire an IT Audit Manager to report to the Internal Audit Senior Director working in a team of four (4) to identify gaps in current control processes, including IT General Controls and Automated Process Controls, and help the organization design new controls and control improvements.
Responsibilities includeo Conduct an IT control risk assessment of current processes and recommend areas of focus to assist in developing the annual Internal Audit plano Plan, execute and report on individual Internal Audits, including the annual SOX 404 assessment, to evaluate control design and effectiveness, compliance with Company policies, standards, applicable statutes and regulationso Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the systems of internal control over financial reporting in accordance with SOX 404 requirementso Serve as a subject-matter expert and advisor on IT issues concerning SOX 404 complianceo Represent the Internal Audit Department on various IT Steering Committees to ensure appropriate internal controls are in place, including the transition of ERP systemso Assess the reliability and integrity of the financial and operating information and the means used to identify, measure, classify, and report such informationo Identify improvement opportunities and remediate risks associated with operations, financial reporting and regulatory reporting including reputational, compliance and fraud riskso Oversee and track effective and timely remediation of identified IT control weaknesses; facilitate agreed-upon corrective actions for remediation with respective process ownerso Brief executives and management on audit objectives and procedures, and obtain their support and cooperation in planned audit activitiesFor more information on this and other fulltime accounting and finance opportunities across the DC metro area, please contact Richard Milne – Senior Vice President (Finance & Accounting) at Robert Half on 301-263-3425 To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess a degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or CIA, minimum 4
