Description • Preparation of the monthly management accounts including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow in line with the Group’s monthly reporting timetable. This will include all monthly management reporting and analysis
along with timely reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
• Preparation of the annual USA strategic and financial budget plan in conjunction with the COO. Contribute fully
to the development of company strategy across all areas of the US business
• Regular production of trading forecasts
• Production of the Company’s Weekly Sales pack, including weekly tracker and pipeline analysis
• Development of management information to support the management and monitoring of margins, yield, cost and productivity
• Continued development of the financial control environment of the company including ensuring that the finance department operates effectively, successfully and profitably and that members of the team perform to the best standards and maximum productivity, and effectively fulfil their job roles
• Mentor and develop assigned team and proactively seek ways to improve functionality for the team and implement initiatives for improved practices
• Work with Senior Leadership and Management teams to implement and monitor company and departmental objectives and strategy. This will include the production of business plans to support key company activities
• Manage the ARC, AP and AR functions
• Liaise with external and government bodies as necessary
• Preparation of the annual statutory accounts including management of the annual audit process in line with the Group’s audit timetable. This will include liaison with the company’s auditors
• Ensure timely and accurate filling of Federal, State and City tax returns
• Hold weekly update meetings with CFO Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required
CPA preferred
Travel/live venue industry experience preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong Excel skills required and hands on experience of using accounting software systems
Credible and confident communication skills, written, verbal and presentation with ability to effectively convey complex information and instructions both verbally and in writing to all levels of employees
Strong leadership, people management, and conflict resolution skills with desire to lead by example
Ability to exercise solid judgement to resolve issues and to promote and enforce safe work practices
Knowledge of labor laws and ability to recognize applicability of the law in day-to-day management of the team
Ability to visualize organizational strategy and set clear attainable goals for the team
Ability to delegate and make effective decisions at the right time
Excellent critical reasoning and listening skills and ability and confidence to challenge Management’s where appropriate
Excellent project management, organizational and time-management skills and attention to detail
Versatility, flexibility, and ability to work within constantly changing priorities
