Description
Our client is seeking to fill the position of Finance Manager. They are seeking an energetic, motivated, solution-focused individual that can work well with internal and external partners at all levels. This individual will be responsible for leading the financial aspects of this high-profile division.
The successful Finance Manager will perform the following:
Strong financial acumen to manage, lead and own business unit financial operations model, including revenue, construction and operating cost projections
Lead the monthly financial forecasting process
Responsible for understanding variances between actual financial results against previous forecast and plan
Identify and quantify risk and opportunities
Responsible for business unit annual business plans
Perform balance sheet account review and analysis for business unit
Interpret complex financial information and be able to provide analysis and recommendations in a clear, concise and relevant manner to assist and guide decision makers
Deliver and present appropriate and effective communication to Executive Leadership team on business unit performance
Collaborate with the management team in providing strategic direction and opportunities through sound financial practices
Maintain professional relationships in a team/matrix environment that foster group process skills to accomplish goals, achieve results and resolve the conflict
Develop Analyst to support business unit finance functions
Internal advisor for expansion/growth opportunities
Other duties as assigned
The successful Finance Manager will possess:
Undergraduate degree, preferably in finance, accounting, economics or management
10+ years working experience in financial leadership roles of increasing responsibility and relevant industry experience is preferred
Strong business acumen
Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
Strong financial modeling experience
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and organization skills, superior attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to work on teams in a demanding environment
Independent, self-starter and highly motivated
Familiar with database technologies and software for financial analysis and reporting
Ability to work efficiently and effectively with tight deadlines
Flexible and able to respond to changes in priorities
Experience in supporting strategic transactions (acquisitions, divestitures, capital raises and restructurings) is a plus
Experience in leading a financial planning & analysis function is also a plus
Requirements
