Description
A well-respected Robert Half non-profit client is seeking a Finance Manager to join the company for an interim opportunity. Join our team on a contract basis, where you will be responsible for providing the required financial information, analysis, and advice in order to make financially sound decisions, working closely with management in various business groups. In addition, the Finance Manager will be tasked with the responsibility of articulating the financial results at the end of each reporting period and for each planning cycle.
Your responsibilities
Develop processes to improve close cycle times and reduce errors by working with the accounting team
Put together detailed business unit projections and highlight risks and opportunities, and manage the preparation of relevant materials
Prepare executive-level management reporting, summarizing findings and recommendations
Work with business unit leaders on overall business strategy and the completeness and accuracy of the material inputs to the company financial model
Drive financial performance by developing operating and financial metrics, analyzing results and trends to create impactful insights, reporting results to executive leadership and key stakeholders, and improving forecasting and modelling accuracy
Develop strong partnerships with leaders across the organization
Own, prep, and coordinate the annual/quarterly/monthly budget and reforecast processes
Requirements
Bachelor or Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting
Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in a FP& A capacity
Advanced MS Excel skills required, including financial modeling and data analysis capabilities
Must be able to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment with excellent written and verbal skills
Excellent knowledge of financial modeling and accounting implications
