Description
A prestigious medical group in the Long Beach area is seeking to hire a talented Finance Director who will thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Finance Director will have a strong understanding of healthcare revenue analysis, cash flow, bank reporting, and provider productivity metrics.
Developing and validating consistent provider productivity metrics across practices including wRVUs, Revenue, Visits, and encounters.
Serving as a subject matter expert in provider key metrics.
Monitoring and evaluating provider compensation models in accordance with employment contracts.
Providing insights on cash flow, banking activities, and FP& A report packages.
Conducting financial analysis, pro formas, and due diligence research for potential practice acquisitions or site consolidations.
Preparing monthly reporting documents for provider productivity, compensation, practice volumes, and more.
Overseeing provider compensation policy development, implementation, and maintenance.
Maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with HIPAA regulations.
Participating in monthly Director meetings with management and physician leaders.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Health Care Management is required (MBA preferred).
Minimum of three to five years’ experience in healthcare accounting, revenue cycle, contract administration, and compensation modeling.
Expert knowledge of the healthcare industry, particularly regarding physician contracting and compensation modeling.
Advanced skills in data analysis, identifying trends, and formulating fact-based conclusions.
Proficiency in Excel, SQL querying, and proprietary report tools.
