Description
Robert Half is partnering with a manufacturing company in the Torrance, CA area to find a hands-on, strategic planning Director of Finance. This full-time role offers a competitive salary, bonuses, and negotiable equity in the company and the possibility to grow into the CFO position down the line.
Responsibilities
·
Strategically manage the accounting and finance functions
·
Oversee independent auditor relationships
·
Identify and manage business risks and insurance requirements
·
Handle all relationships with vendors
·
Analyze if cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s
operations
·
Supervise all finance personnel
·
Have staff comply with state and federal laws and company’s
policies
·
Govern accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
·
Take care of financial systems implementations and upgrades
·
Oversee hiring, training, and retention of finance and
accounting staff
·
Ensure the integrity of a company’s financial information and
suggest improvements
·
Develop and maintain relationships with investment institutions
and investors
You must have:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
· 10+ years of Finance experience, including at least 7 in a supervisory or executive role
· Strong cost background in a manufacturing environment
· Experience with a publicly traded company preferred but not required
