My client is a passionate, mission-driven non profit in the Baltimore area that is looking to hire a Director of Finance to oversee the organization’s accounting and finance function. This role will report into the Executive Director and also be a part of the senior leadership team. The right individual for this role will possess a combination of passion for their mission and technical skills for the position. Responsibilities include:

Overseeing all accounting and finance functions for the organization

Accounting for grants and awards

Financial reporting, budgeting and analysis

Management of the annual audit and also tax compliance

Position will be responsible for some HR duties as well

Requirements

5+ years of finance and accounting experience

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

MBA or CPA is preferred
