Client in the Construction Industry in Conway is seeking a Director of Finance / Controller for their organization. This is a unique opportunity to join a successful Entrepreneur who is going through tremendous growth and has a strong forecast for this year. This is a newly created position that will report directly to the CEO and be a true Finance Partner to him in the business to help take the accounting and finance load off his plate.
Director will oversee the financial health of the organization and work with operations team to manage all finance and accounting activities for the businesses. Director will create and implement strategies to improve accounting systems, enhance compliance, and produce accuracy in the cash flows to enhance profits of the company.
Other duties will include:
· Partner with Operations Teams to understand core business to better manage Finance & Accounting Support
· Produces accurate and timely reporting on Project Accounting for all operations of the organization
· Provides an investigative function to Operations Teams to better understand current and potential risks of the operating activities of the organization
· Creates & Manages the Budget of the organization and its departments
· Recruiting, Interviewing, and hiring team members, as needed for Finance & Accounting Department
· Oversees the payment of all internal and external resources
· Oversees all Invoicing Processes to end clients and manages Accounts Payables
· Reporting to Leadership on all Financing & Accounting activities and KPI’s
· Oversees Process Improvement within the Finance & Accounting Department
· Coordinates and assists, on behalf of the Organization, any third-party accounting firms in preparation with State & Federal Tax Purposes

Requirements
· Bachelor’s in Accounting, CPA is a plus
· 7+ years of experience, 2+ years in a leadership role
· Construction / Engineering experience is a plus
· QuickBooks /NetSuite experience preferred (conversion happening soon)
· Strong communication skills
