Robert Half is working with a fast-growing, dynamic team looking for a Contracts Financial Analyst/Administrator who will be a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This role is with a company in the Aviation industry. This Contracts Financial Analyst/Administrator role is a short-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity and is located in the West Chester, Ohio, area. The strongest candidates for this Contracts Financial Analyst/Administrator position will be able to conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. The Contracts Financial Analyst/Administrator will also be tasked with advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management.
Your responsibilities
Administrate contracts
Understand and assist with management, tracking and implementation of payments, purchase orders and engine deliveries, as well as all other financial transactions with the manufacturers.
Develop forecasts for financial flows
Implement the financial / administrative transactions / lessor customer contracts for sale of products to support operations:
With customer team, manage and administer the terms and conditions of the customer contract.
Calculate and coordinate the payments and orders with customers lessors.
Develop and provide financial analysis and data for periodic reviews and various management reports.
Maintain databases and information systems.
Perform other contract management activities, including review, tracking, interpretation and other related projects.
Implement and manage special projects, as needed, related to process improvements for the organization.
If requested, support sales and legal teams as required during proposal and contract negotiations with customers.
Requirements
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
Financial Forecast experience
Adeptness in Microsoft Excel is a must
Familiar with ERP systems
General familiarity with aviation industry
Contract administration experience desired
Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively
Ability to work independently and work under deadlines
