Beau Pennington with Robert Half Finance & Accounting is partnering with a farming company seeking a Finance Manager to support the CFO. This position is open due to an upcoming 40-year retirement. The Finance Manager will be responsible for month-end close: maintaining appropriate balance between accurate monthly reporting and the annual requirements of an S corp. Budgeting and forecasting: understanding the company’s current model and working to improve future versions. Ad hoc financial modeling: supporting the decision-making process for optimizing cash management strategies. Implementation and cross training of ERP functionality: working to eliminate manual effort and strengthen internal controls. Administration and improvement of partnership accounting: supporting a growing partnership, and optimizing accounting for several legal entities. This a ‘roll up the sleeves’ role with a 30% bonus target. The ideal candidate would have strong MS Excel spreadsheet modeling skills and aspiration to become a future CFO. A BS degree is required for consideration with CPA or MBA preferred however not required for consideration.
