Position overview
Reporting to the VP of Marketing and Communications, you will provide support to our marketing team through creative production (Adobe CS), market research, coordination of the marketing calendar, budget reconciliation, and other marketing tasks, including the execution of some tactics within marketing campaigns.
The ideal marketing specialist will be fluent in Adobe CS and creative production, detail-oriented and data-driven. Experience with Adobe CS, Hubspot, CRM, and social media marketing is preferred. This individual will work within our marketing automation systems, analytic systems, and CRM. This position requires hands-on management of data reporting and execution of various marketing tactics. This position can be remote (or hybrid for Chicago-area applicants).
What you’ll do
- Produce marketing creatives to brand standards and edit existing materials for re-use
- Provide support for execution of marketing tactics, including marketing automation workflows, CRM reporting/list generation, and coordination with outside vendors
- Work with internal and external resources to ensure that marketing components are available on time for campaign execution
- Manage Google AdWords/SM PPC campaigns to ensure that they are optimized for maximum performance
- Provide support for events, including pre-event organization, sales collateral development, and event site tasks
- Manage and execute content for social media on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok
- Marketing team expense reporting and coding
What you’ll bring
- Proven work experience in marketing
- Demonstrable experience providing marketing reporting data
- Experience with social media content
- Adobe CS experience
- Google Suite familiarity (particularly AdWords, Analytics, and Search Console)
- Experience with Marketing Automation and CRM software
- BA degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
- Great to Have: Expertise in the transportation and/or logistics industry
