SHIPPING MANAGER
EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Full-time, seasonal. May – September, 8:00AM-5:00PM; 1-hr lunch, Monday-Friday.
SUPERVISOR: General Manager of Retail
JOB SUMMARY: Manage the processing, preparing, and packaging of shipping orders, and perform administrative duties under the direction of the General Manager of Retail. Provide customer service over the phone and via email correspondence as necessary. Work as a part of the retail team in Steamboat Landing during the “rush time periods” as needed for providing customer sales and service.

Daily Checklist of Job Duties
1. Process web orders.
2. Listen to voicemail, update phone log, process orders.
3. Collect, open, respond to and file mail and e-mail orders.
4. Enter data into Stamps.com program.
5. Print corresponding Stamps.com address labels.
6. Collect retail items for shipment. Enter info into Retail Pro.
7. Package orders.
8. Deliver packages to USPS and Fed Ex.
9. Send status report via email to supervisor.
10. Clean work area.
