By connecting every business system to one source of truth for employee data, businesses can automate all of the manual work they normally need to do to make employee changes. Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can just click a button and set up a new employees’ payroll, health insurance, work computer, and third-party apps—like Slack, Zoom, and Office 365—all within 90 seconds.
Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $700M from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, and Bedrock—and was named one of America’s best startup employers by Forbes (#12 out of 500).
About the Role
As a member of our Demand Generation team, you’ll operate at the tip of the spear of Rippling’s business to drive revenue daily.
You will brainstorm, build, and ship marketing experiments from the ground up. You’ll set and exceed audacious revenue goals for your segment. You’ll constantly generate ideas and hack together new experiments, while maintaining an extremely high quality bar for your work.
You’ll obsess over customers’ problems and craft messages that stick, then dive into the data to draw patterns and scale the winners to massive reach. When you succeed, your work will have a real impact on the business.
Marketing experience is not required. Some of our team members are former engineers, investors, product managers, and writers. We value unconventional backgrounds.
You’ll sprint hard to:
Develop, build, and ship new marketing experiments from 0 to 1. You’ll get inside the heads of your customers, identify promising segments, write persuasive and conversational copy, and work cross-functionally to ship campaigns. You will be equally at home generating campaign ideas, and obsessing over the details of an email.
Obsess over maximizing revenue for your segment. You’ll experiment with new ideas, scale the winners, and work with business leaders to define the strategy for your segment.
Become an expert on your segment. You’ll understand your customers’ pain points inside and out – and constantly update your knowledge with qualitative exploration and quantitative analysis.
Use data to build better campaigns and drive strategy. After shipping a campaign, you’ll dig into the data to understand what worked, what didn’t, and why, then quickly iterate.
Qualifications:
1+ years in a top tech company, strategic consulting, quantitative trading, or another role that balances qualitative and quantitative work.
1+ years experience structuring and solving ambiguous problems. You’ve thrived in situations where you needed to balance short-term needs and long-term strategy while solving new problems.
Excellent writing abilities. You can make complex concepts clear and craft conversational messages that don’t sound sales-y.
Ownership mindset. You do what it takes to hit your goals, obsess over the details of the projects you own, take initiative without being asked, and get up to speed on new challenges.
Competitive. You love to win. You’re always pushing yourself and your team to be better.
If you don’t meet all of the requirements listed here, we still encourage you to apply. No job description is perfect, and we might find an even more suitable opportunity that matches your skills and experience.
