We are looking for an AP/AR associate to join our team; as an AP/AR associate, you are responsible for ensuring proper and accurate entry and coding of accounting-related transactions, invoices, expense reports and timely submission and collection of invoices and payments.
Responsibilities
- Track and input all payables and receivables in a timely manner
- Review vendor bills and dispute as needed; process and submit payments
- Prepare and send invoices to customers; receive, record and reconcile payments in system
- Manage cash accounts, general ledger, and bank statement reconciliation
- Work with customers/vendors and internal departments to resolve any invoicing and payment issues
- Analyze AR/AP aging reports; ensure timely collection of unpaid balances
- Other AR/AP-related duties as requested
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other related fields
- 1+ years AP/AR experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with high-volume transactions and a strong knowledge of Excel and other data analytics and reporting tools
- Ability to follow direction, multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 – $43,000.00 per year
