Position Summary:

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis – Corporate is the financial business partner to the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Controller. Responsible for assessing financial results, providing analysis, evaluating scenarios, and summarizing insights derived from the data to help identify root cause and identify profit opportunities. Will assist with the budgeting and forecasting process and developing reporting.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Collect, analyze, interpret and summarize data, quantifying financial opportunities, required investment and related risk.
• Help identify and prioritize strategic opportunities and business problems, based on analysis, that will create significant value when solved. Opportunities may be within a single market, function or cross-organizational initiatives.
• Assess and develop opportunities leveraging a collaborative approach, to cultivate alignment to move forward.
• Communicate opportunity areas and project updates to Executive Leadership as well as cross functional constituents.
• Engage proactively with a ‘roll up the sleeves’ mentality and influence aligned opportunities and situations with key internal and external (supplier) constituents.
• Develop and ensure understanding of key operational metrics of the business and their impact on profit and loss, revenue, customer impact, etc.
• Collaborate with the Vice President and Controller in the development, implementation, and performance tracking of key initiatives.
• Manage the preparation of financial/operational reports and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Develop financial analysis and reporting tools to assist in management decisions.
• Identify and advocate for data analytics features and capabilities to internal and external stakeholders to identify business needs and uncover areas in need of deeper data exploration.
• Lead and/or participate in business initiatives and special projects.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance and 8+ years consulting, accounting or finance experience in progressive roles.
• Business acumen with analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working with senior level executives.
• Ability to work with large amounts of data.
• Experience bringing data together from multiple platforms and showcase in easy-to-understand visualizations.
• Ability to turn data into insights; to balance technical and functional expertise and interest.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and front-end tools (i.e., Power BI).
• Ability to take ownership and be accountable for issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Must present a highly professional image and attitude.
• Highly organized, detail orientated and capable of multi-tasking.
• Self-motivated individual with initiative and ability to work independently.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to meet tight deadlines on multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and internal staff.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.
• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Supervisory experience: training, coaching and motivating direct reports.
• Beverage Alcohol /distribution experience.
