Responsibilities:
Maintain accounting records, prepare journal entries, and reconcile ledger accounts
Review and analyze invoices and process payments
Ensure timely and accurate payment to and maintain communication with vendors
Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and the organization’s policies
Maintain records of financial transactions
Balance accounts by reconciling entries
Demonstrate ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities and complete duties within the allotted time
Job Requirements:
College degree in bookkeeping/accounting preferred
1 – 2 years of experience in all phases of accounting preferred: A/P, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
Knowledge of GAAP
Proficient in QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office products
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Strong critical thinking skills, adaptable, detail-oriented
