Are you a financial specialist capable of overseeing daily accounting operations while maintaining a strong focus on profitability? You might be the perfect candidate for our next accounting manager! We seek a passionate, detail-oriented specialist who can monitor internal control systems and make necessary modifications that affect our business’s bottom line by focusing on profitability. You will be in charge of payroll processing, monthly forecasting, reconciling general ledger accounts, and creating an annual budget. Compensation:
$45,000+
Responsibilities:
- Effectively monitor and track all accounts receivable, while also creating and controlling accounts payable invoicing
- Verify general ledger accounts, investigate and correct account discrepancies, and review daily revenue activity list to ensure accountability
- Recommend changes that will enhance profitability by reviewing balance sheets, income statements, and expense accounts and ensuring their accuracy
- Produce monthly forecasts and annual budgets to assist the day-to-day accounting procedures and operations
- Conduct monthly payroll audits and issue paychecks
Qualifications:
- Excellent math skills, relationship skills, communication skills, and customer service skills are crucial
- Position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent; degree in finance or related field is strongly preferred
- Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks
