Summary:
The FP&A Manager will develop and maintain integrated financial models that guide the organization’s decision-making processes. This person will take direction from the VP, FP&A and IR while working closely with the CFO to execute a detailed annual budget process, detailed quarterly forecast updates and ad-hoc financial analysis. The FP&A Mgr. will maintain analysis in support of product pricing decisions, product costing assumptions, sales by SKU, overhead allocations and various ROI calculations in support of the organizations ongoing expansion.

The FP&A Manager will be highly skilled in MS Excel with the technical abilities and initiative to leverage a newly implemented ERP system.
The FP&A Manager is experienced with Investor and Banking based financial metrics, ratios and terminologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
§ Support decision making and accurate planning through the development of financial models, summary of assumptions and key financial metric analyses.
§ Interact effectively with multiple levels of leadership within the organization including Sales, Operations Management and Executive Leadership.
§ Oversee the maintenance and further development of robust monthly reporting packages that provide for timely and reliable financial and operational information for internal decision-making processes, including analytics that accompany the financial reports.
§ Continuously refine projections and analyze variances in Sales and Expenses under rapidly changing CPG Retail assumptions.
§ Facilitate the development of KPI’s and translate results into Company dashboards in support of performance management plans.
§ Prepare, review and distribute monthly comparisons of the budget to actual results and prior year actual results to the current year, together with variance explanations for consolidated, divisional and departmental results.
§ Coordinate closely with the VP, FP&A and IR to prepare and present quarterly business reviews to the CFO, CEO, and department managers along with applicable variance explanations.
§ Ability to create and maintain conceptual and highly complex, efficient, logical financial models.
§ Develop and maintain financial models used for product innovation investments.
§ Oversee the administration of the budgeting and financial reporting library.
§ Collect data outputs from various sources: Payroll, General Ledger Module, Customer Portals, Inventory Modules, Production Planning Modules, etc.
§ Assist in Investor Relations functions such as earnings preparation, analyst interactions and investor presentations.
§ Strong work ethic, positive attitude and team player.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Financial Systems. 2-4 years of related experience in a Public/PE backed CPG Manufacturer (or commercial banking environment) preferred. FP&A and general accounting experience, including: financial modeling, accruals vs cash, GAAP, financial statements reporting, consolidations, variance analysis, data analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
Language Skills: Ability to input, analyze and interpret financial data and possess excellent written and communication skills.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to think critically, sound logical reasoning, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proficient time management skills.
Computer/Technical Skills: Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications with exceptional Excel and PowerPoint capabilities required. Experience integrating data within an ERP environment.
Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to Project Manage large and complex initiatives. Prior experience with investor driven financial metrics. Ability to communicate effectively with Executive Stakeholders. Flexibility to complete priority tasks and assignments by assigned due dates.
