Job Title Head of TES E-trading Architecture Capital Market Trading & Execution Services Technology (TES) has embarked on a major transformation of the E-trading landscape across Capital Market asset classes globally. In this role you will provide pivotal architecture leadership to drive and define target state functional and technical architecture target states working closely with senior business and technology stakeholders. The position is Director level based in New Jersey and involves working closely with teams in New York, Toronto, and London PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Facilitate stakeholders towards a common vision of functional and technical e-trading strategy / architecture including leveraging technology trends and industry insights Define / drive formulation of target state functional and technology e-trading architecture in collaboration with key stakeholders Establish and evolve technology standards / patterns / practices in collaboration with enterprise architecture teams Maintain the current and target state e-trading architecture along with the technology roadmaps for a given TES Portfolio Research emerging trends/best practices and determines implications of proposed solutions on meeting business unit strategy Foster a collaborative environment and coach the team members in defining end to end solutions that align to the business and technology roadmaps Govern architecture alignment to established target states and technology standards JOB SPECIFICATIONSAND QUALIFICATIONS 10 years experience working in technology organizations 5 years managing Capital Markets Front Office development teams Minimum of 1 year working in a Front Office Architecture function Strong E-trading business domain knowledge on both derivatives and cash products across Equities and Fixed Income Technology depth on ultra low latency technologies and design patterns used across E-trading such as: Shared memory IPC High performance caching solutions High volume / high performance messaging Pauseless GC Specialized low latency HW / appliances Strong presentation and facilitation skills across developments teams / leads, business stakeholders, senior technology management Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
