This is an opportunity to join the Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) Business Execution Finance team as the Business Execution Financial Planning & Analysis Associate Director.

The successful candidate will partner with the Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality functional teams in driving favorable financial performance. The leader will be responsible for providing financial leadership and oversight of the Program Execution financial planning in support of the Annual Operating Plan and Long Range Plan execution to include the RMD supply chain material and production labor positions. This includes leading the development of and communicating the financial forecast, variance analysis, and the qualitive analysis of risk and opportunities supporting these projections. Responsibilities also include fiscal management of the Program Execution team overhead budget, manpower planning, and other process improvement initiatives. The candidate will help construct and execute change management protocols generating value to the executing originations via critical analysis, financial guidance, and conflict resolution across a multi-function stakeholder environment. Lastly, the candidate will lead and develop a finance team of 10+ finance professionals with the need to prioritize and allocate resources in a dynamic, geographically dispersed, and deadline driven environment.

This position will report directly to the Business Execution Finance Director and requires proactive leadership and significant partnership with the Mission Area Execution Directors, Functional Directors, Program Management teams, Mission Area PAD Business Managers to ensure alignment regarding execution, strategy, operating, and financial objectives.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Serve as a Finance Business Partner to the Business Execution team. Lead the development of and communicate the financial planning forecasts of all material receipts & production labor and the qualitative analysis of risks and opportunities supporting those projections.
• Provide analysis of performance metrics versus budget, forecast for overhead budget performance. Provide ad hoc financial analysis including opportunity and risk identification.
• Partner with Mission Area and Financial Planning representatives in establishing quarterly and annual financial targets, paths to achieve target, and status.
• Partner with Business Execution team and impacted stakeholders to ensure that decision making is based on balanced financial and operational impacts and outcomes.
• Assist in providing tactical and strategic solutions to maximize timely and financially sound material receipts that meet all revenue recognition requirements in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and our disclosure statement.
• Drive process and reporting improvements. As necessary, develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards to drive execution predictability, understanding, and actionable items
• Ability to motivate, train, and influence employees and leaders in a cross functional environment
• Provide guidance, training, direction, and support to the greater Business Execution Finance team to ensure team member skill development and career growth

This role can be located near any Raytheon Missiles & Defense facility.

Qualifications you must have:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field and 12 years of prior relevant experience OR and Advanced degree and 10 years of relevant experience
• Relevant industry work experience
• Management/Leadership experience on high visibility projects and programs
• Experience with government contracting and FAR requirements
• Risk and Opportunity analysis evaluation and reporting
• U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems
