Director of Finance- Rank + Rally

Rank + Rally is a wholly-owned Levy subsidiary developing custom merchandise and retail experiences for sports and entertainment teams, venues, and events. The company evolved from Levy’s sports and entertainment roots, giving the retail outfit a unique understanding of fans and teams.

Job Summary

This individual will oversee all accounting and financial activity For the Retail Rank and Rally Team, including forecasting and budgeting.

Long Description

• Manage accounts receivable including collections, cash application, and reporting.
• Compile journal entries related to period close
• Coordinate with the Controller on procedures surrounding budgeting and forecasting for the client
• Support the operations team with the implementation of new businesses
• Oversee new business transition processes as they relate to billing/invoicing, payroll, and metrics/reporting
• Compiles new and rebid Pro-forma and analyzes for accuracy
• Prepares and analyzes monthly management reporting; new, rebid and lost business reporting; weekly
• Business Owner Reports
• Provides financial guidance to operating units within the region on matters involving client returns, revenue, and profitability goals
• Improves financial status by compiling and analyzing budgets and forecasts, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and considering “what if scenarios to bring forth suggestions to the Controller
• Documents and maintains complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
• Provides accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of the individual project
• Creates and designs reports and spreadsheets; creates and maintains a database to organize, collect and upload data into required reporting formats
• Track regional initiatives and compliance with Corporate policies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent professional experience
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience (including revenue control, financial reporting, cash handling, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a concentration in Excel
• Demonstrated ability to prepare monthly financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and analyses
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled at managing multiple priorities and relationships
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
