Our Client based here in the White Plains area is looking to hire a Finance Director with a career progression path to a VP of Finance role down the road. They are part of a billion dollar global organization with a small family office feel here in White Plains area. Its a small team but excellent longevity of their employees

responsibilities

1. Preparation of high quality financial and management information for decision making purposes and improved efficiency in business processes.

2. Develop effective internal reporting to measure the performance of the business components in a timely and meaningful manner.

3. Monitor economic indicators that impact on industry planning outcomes.

4. Control the financial resources and treasury functions of the business and deliver the maximum business benefit including:

5. Manage banking relationships alongside company Risk Manager

6. Manage cash flow forecasts

7. Working capital management

8. Manage hedging strategy and accounting for foreign exchange contracts.

qualifications

• Required:

• Qualified accountant 10+ years experience.

• Extensive experience in a similar position in a commercially oriented organisation.

• Experience dealing with confidential organisational information.

• Extensive knowledge of Acts, Regulations and professional practices relating to financial accounting and management.

• Extensive experience in management accounting

• Systems and detail oriented.

• Organised and logical.

• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel & Word.

• Team player.

• Strong business acumen.

• Uncompromising ethics and professional approach.

• Proven record of motivational and leadership skills.
