Overview
The Sr. Director of Finance for Bone Health will be responsible for partnering with the business owners of the Bone Health franchise supporting all financial aspects of commercial and development activities. This position will actively support the Capital Strategy Team (CST) to assist in strategic decisions to drive the franchise and overall Radius business. Additionally, this person will be responsible for managing and building a team to support them.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all financial aspects of the Bone Health business. Working with the franchise leadership team to establish or recommend economic strategies and objectives to drive both franchise and organizational performance.
- Partners with commercial to develops revenue forecasts and is responsible for review and approval of the Gross to Net process.
- Partners with franchise leadership to prepare budgets, review budget proposals, and to prepare necessary supporting documentation and justification – business case approach.
- Will anticipate business needs, responsibly assess financial and business risks, and makes effective decisions to address as well as develop recommendations to senior management.
- Provide regular presentations or updates to the leaders and integrated corporate functions on the franchise for all financial matters.
- Assist the CST members for as needed for adhoc projects and updates to the corporate business models.
- Develops / maintains forecasting processes and action plans that will best predict future performance.
- Work with business owners to customize reports, out of new Oracle EPM system, to support all departments within the franchise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance/accounting or a related field. Advanced degree, MBA is desirable.
- 10+ years of pharma accounting/finance experience in leadership roles is required.
- Experience in a Senior Leadership role and/or working directly with Senior Management.
- Strong communication and presentation skills and demonstrated strategic influencing skills.
- Forecast development experience is required.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to type, handle paperwork and sort, file or manipulate documents. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
