The mission of the Finance Systems Manager is to optimize processes, maintain, and enhance our accounting systems to ensure accuracy and completeness in our system of record. Shape the financial systems landscape and lead projects to enable financial and accounting controls, automation and integration. This is a hands-on position that requires a deep understanding of the key principles of accounting, particularly in revenue recognition, and technical knowledge of reconciling systems.
Primary responsibilities include reconciling our ecommerce revenue platform with our accounting system of record; Order to Cash, including ownership of the balance sheet and P&L. Identifying and leading process improvement and collaborating with the Technology team as needed. Provide daily support to our Accounting and FP&A teams in addition to leading future improvements and integration projects. You will be a subject matter expert in all aspects of NetSuite, Shopify, Tipalti, and other tools.
Why You’re Rad (about you):
5-8 years experience in a financial systems/accounting role with a focus on third party software, data accuracy, and transaction to general ledger ownership. Transformation initiatives and integration into enterprise financial systems
Expert level understanding of financial system functions and workflows
Excellent written and verbal skills for communicating with confidence, clarity and focus; ability to easily convey concepts to individuals with varying levels of knowledge
The ability to collaborate and build relationships across teams, bridge gaps, and successfully influence without authority
Strong sense of ownership and drive, including a desire to dive into the details
Additional Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems
Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
Strong analytical and data gathering skills
Impeccable oral and written communication skills
Experience with supporting Workday Adaptive Planning and NetSuite ERP
Creating detailed processes and procedures for Quality Assurance and UAT

Contributed to the planning, mapping, and testing of a new integration between NetSuite and Shopify
Implementation of new software, including sourcing, developing test scripts, and driving rollout, tailoring to needs of individual users and departments
Evaluated the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed data solutions and develop queries to make data available to reporting and visualization tools
Partnered with Accounting and Finance teams to improve and maintain the accuracy and completeness of our general ledger and financial reporting.
Participated in end-to-end administration and maintenance of tools, systems and ETLs in the form of end-user support and monitoring progress against data and systems integration to provide insight into what is working, what is not working, and why
