Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Quincy, IL

Position Type: Full-time, salaried (exempt), in-office

Responsibilities:
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare financial statements and reconciliations
• Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Research and correct any discrepancies in accounts to maintain data integrity
• Assist with budget preparation and analyze monthly variances
• Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedules to ensure accurate reporting
• Assist with initial internal control evaluations to identify and address potential risks
• Process and record payroll accurately and in a timely manner
• Manage and process employee expenses according to company policies
• Create and issue invoices to clients promptly and accurately

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting or related field
• Experience with manufacturing preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance
