Duties &
Responsibilities:
Developing reports using TM1 or Tableau software
Updating metadata
Previewing procedural documentation
Querying large datasets using SQL Server
Develops new reports using Tableau and SQL Server
Performing various tests and analysis on data, automated processes, and metadata
Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for each of our branches and consolidated corporation
Ensure the accuracy of all financial results
Prepare ad hoc financial summaries and reports under the direction of the CFO
Assist in the creation of forecasts of results
Update actual results compared to forecasted results as required by management
Assist in establishing and managing reporting processes and solutions across the company
Assist in comparing variances of actual results to forecast and budget
Assist in forecasting certain revenue and expense accounts
Assist in analyzing fiscal impact of new strategic initiatives
Develop standard reports and respond to data requests
Score Keeps for operational units
Mines datasets to discover emerging trends
Coordinates financial planning, analysis, and information management activities
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
Work with contracted employees to ensure all business needs are met
Provide training to new employees as needed
Education &
Qualifications:
Four-year degree with a preferred major in Economics, Finance, or Accounting. MBA a plus
Three to five years financial analysis experience
Expert level Microsoft Excel, analytical and data modeling skills
Extensive experience working with data visualization tools including Tableau (Business Intelligence)
Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to think analytically and creatively; highly-driven and self-motivated
Experienced with financial statement analysis and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts
Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity
Assertive, ability to develop credibility and influence across the organization
Willing to embrace rapid change and ambiguity, comfortable in a collaborative culture
