Job Description
Puget Sound Energy (PSE) is currently seeking a Product Manager who will integrate equity design and implementation across customer energy management services, in particular for residential and small business customers.
We are working to equitably build a clean energy future. By 2030, PSE will have a carbon neutral electric supply and will reduce customer emissions from our natural gas business by 30% while balancing safety, sustainability, reliability and affordability. PSE’s Customer Energy Management group is a major contributor to these goals by empowering customers to control their energy use by providing financial incentives, technical assistance, and personalized education.
As an integral member of PSE’s Customer Energy Management group, you will work with program managers to increase participation in PSE’s Energy Efficiency Programs with a focus on customers with high energy burden and members of Named Communities (as defined in the Clean Energy Transformation Act). This matrixed position works in conjunction with cross-functional staff and leadership to improve program design, implementation, and reporting by focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Job Responsibilities
Develops and maintains relationships with program and product managers marketing, community representatives, research, customer care, and the Clean Energy team to increase the equitable design and delivery of PSE’s energy management programs.
Develops and champions new program concepts for residential and SMB customers: Identifies customer challenges, current trends, and other best practice programs and measures in the industry.
Strengthens program development and implementation processes to better incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion considerations.
Supports and leads efforts in the development, implementation, and launch of new energy efficiency programs including program design, stakeholder engagement, tariff updates, biennial planning documentation, program marketing, and go-to-market planning.
Identifies market potential for programs and measures, alongside program leads. Provides guidance for how to analyze the market for program implementation and measure adoption using a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens.
Leads process improvement initiatives to streamline existing energy efficiency programs to increase customer participation and improve customer experience.
Develop strategies and implement internal and external communications about energy efficiency’s activities to meet equity-related goals in the Clean Energy Implementation Plan and Biennial Conservation Plan. Includes matching programs to evidence-based outcomes.
Oversees and leads energy efficiency special projects and pilots for PSE’s customers, including scope, schedule, and budget.
Become an expert on the equity-related regulatory considerations for program delivery, and help imbue those considerations in program decisions and reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, engineering or related field
7 years’ experience in leading/implementing complex multi-disciplined market/program/product analysis, research, evaluation, or product launch
Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver complex customer-facing products or projects
Excellent organizational, analysis, and problem solving skills including applying analysis and statistical methods to study complex and unique business issues.
Proven ability to lead or oversee financial modeling
Proven ability to identify and use advanced customer and marketing analytics
Proven project management skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to synthesize data and other information into clear, actionable deliverables
Ability to build trust and and value-based relationships with employees at all levels of internal and external organizations.
Ability to effectively manage conflict
Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, other presentation and analytical tools
