Providence is calling a Manager, Finance who will:
Support local ministry/entity leadership teams and may serve on local leadership committees as assigned
Be Responsible for financial analysis and modeling in order to evaluate the effectiveness of new programs and to propose recommendations for achieving financial goals and budgetary targets
Provide financial analysis for strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting
Develop analytical reports to assist in enhancing process improvements and in increasing efficiencies
Serve as a resource to clinical service line leaders
Have other responsibilities which may include development of financial plans, budgets, and support for month-end review of financial statements and other assistance as required
Manage appropriate finance staff

Primary Responsibilities:
Carries out the mission, vision and values of Providence; assists local finance leadership in managing costs against budgets
Provide support to local leadership teams in developing and reviewing annual budgets for ministries assigned; complete or assist in completing periodic forecasting of ministry results
Complete or assist in completing periodic forecasting of ministry results
Review and participate in local capital budgeting and proforma analysis of appropriate investment
Assist local leaders in interpreting and developing plans to analyze clinical service lines (may include institute financial reporting and value oriented architecture analysis)
Support leaders in analyzing and developing plans in relationship to Insights (costing) data and productivity data
Provide direction in accomplishing mission sustainability efforts including tracking results of such work
Create and manipulate queries and reports, including exporting information to Excel
Directly manage and lead staff to achieve well established organizational objectives
Responsible for hiring, training and developing staff
Additional Responsibilities:
May interact with appropriate shared services partners (i.e. revenue cycle, system financial planning and analysis, resource engineering and hospitality, system accounting) in reviewing information and providing data requests
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
6 years of experience in a finance related supervisory role
4 years of experience in a leadership role
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Expense budgeting and analysis experience
HFMA or FACHE Certification
Certified Public Accountant
