Process & Power, Inc Looking for Accounts Payable/Receivable Administrator at Memphis, TN Full Time

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable/Receivable Administrator to provide financial, administrative and clerical services. The job duties include, but are not limited to: ensuring accuracy and efficiency of accounting operations, processing and monitoring incoming/outgoing payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts, approving and posting invoices for payment, reconciling credit card statements, filing Sales and use tax, etc.

Responsibilities

• Process and post incoming/outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables/payables data
• Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits, set-up vendor accounts, paying vendor invoices
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Reconcile credit card statement and make appropriate G/L entries
• Verify discrepancies resolve customers’ billing issues
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending statements and contacting clients
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts payable/ receivable status

Skills

• Previous Administrative experience and ability to multi-task
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and self-motivation
