A leading Import dealer in the Hartford Metro area needs to hire an Accounts Payable / Receivable Clerk to post, code, and write monthly and daily payable checks, reconcile schedules and balance statements, handle receivables, etc. Build and advance a rewarding career with our growing company. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for posting, coding, and writing monthly and daily payable checks.
• Reconciling schedules and balancing statements.
• Maintain vendor files with required tax and insurance information.
• 1099 prep at year-end.
• Daily balancing of prior day cash, check, and credit card receipts
• Daily bank reconciliation
• Handle receivables
• Other duties may be assigned
   

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Automotive Dealership Experience Required
• Knowledge of how to code payables from a chart of accounts, expense accounts, accrued accounts, etc.
• Attention to detail and organized
• Resume must be uploaded, and online assessment completed for immediate consideration.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
• Applicants must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
