Monday- Friday
8:00 am to 5:00 pm
A trusted supplier of the latest trends in scented wax, wax warmers, and essential oils is looking to fill an Accounting Clerk position. This person will perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks that ensure daily accounting functions are running accurately and effectively. Responsibilities:
Processing due invoices for payments
Handling accounts payable for separate vendors
Direct imports
Provide cross-functional support to the accounting department
Perform month-end account reconciliations
Assists in filing disputes to recapture money taken by vendors in error
Assists in keying in shipments to customers to accurately reflect company sales and vendor AR
Update financial records and prepare reports
Use accounting software programs to process business transactions
Research, track & resolve accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Skills and Experience Required:
Associate Degree minimum
At least two years of experience in accounting
Ability to prioritize & multitask
Self-motivated, positive attitude, strong work ethic
Ability to work independently as well as be a strong team player
Organized, dependable, and excellent at time management
Ability to analyze & revise operating practices to improve efficiency
Detail-oriented & comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
Willingness to learn new concepts and duties
