You will be able to obtain, develop and maintain global and regional chain and management companies impacting all regions. This includes negotiating and securing chain/portfolio-wide contracts, expanding current relationships and overseeing product, revenue and profitability strategies. Have frequent contact with corporate partners at all levels via email, phone and in person, as well as company department heads and executive team. In this role you will get to: Build relationships, handle contract negotiations, hotel onboarding, rate loading, inventory management, promotional opportunities, reporting, competitive analysis, and achievement of revenue/profit goals for the assigned markets. Develop strong relationships across a broad portfolio of chain wide and management company partners Build a strong portfolio of product across multiple regions Grow and optimize current supplier relationships Oversee content, rates, inventory and product to maximize hotel success and product conversion Create and support plans for direct supply growth and measure success against these goals Develop promotional strategies with the corporate teams and work closely with marketing team to implement Analyze and prepare reporting on sales activities, promotional activities and competitive analysis Provide and interpret reports for hotel partners to enhance relationships and maximize profitability Represent Getaroom. com in each market, participating in local tourism industry events and conferences. Share best practices with peers Oversee administration and coordination team to ensure day to day execution is meeting expectations Maintain open dialogue with SVP of Global Sales and Executive team as neededWho you are: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 3-5 years of hotel industry sales experience Proven track record in sales and negotiations with quantifiable closing data Has strong hotel industry relationships at mid to senior level Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong leadership and management skills Strong independent work ethic with eye for detail Demonstrated appetite for fast changing industry environment and creativity Easily earns the confidence and respect of others Strong detail-oriented and analytical skills with ability to analyze trends and communicate data driven results to increase sales Strong contract negotiating skills Able to work independently as well as part of a team Excellent organizational, follow up and communication skills Conscientious, quick learner, adaptable, self-aware, accountable, and responsible Have professional written and telephone etiquette Ability to meet with corporate level partners as needed Independent work ethic; ability to work remotely Have an entrepreneurial spirit Aptitude to make market decisions with potential team-wide impact Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked, fast paced environment Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.
