Finance & Operations Manager

Practis has also broken new ground by bringing physicians and healthcare channel partners together to collaborate in a co-marketing model. Based out of Charlotte, NC, the Company services clients all across the country.

The successful candidate will be responsible for key finance functions of a high-growth, private equity-backed company. This position will be based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. Health benefits and a competitive salary will be offered.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and closing the monthly financial statements and maintaining all relevant support schedules
• Performing and managing the billing and collection process
• Vendor management including payments
• Performing and managing employee payroll and benefits
• Evaluating, auditing, and updating internal control documentation, systems and client information.
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly Board reporting materials
• Auditing of vendor contracts against client billing
• Monitoring, auditing and reporting of sales tax
• Working with management team to manage the cash flow cycle
• Working with management team and external auditors on annual audit process
• Assisting in updating the Company’s financial forecast, as well as the creation of the Annual Operating Plan (“AOP”).
• Acquisition target due diligence, including evaluation of accounting policies and project management of accounting system integration

Requirements

• Strong financial comprehension (US GAAP) and experience overseeing monthly close process
• Ability to work closely with senior management, and is comfortable managing multiple timelines and deliverables
• Familiarity with acquisition integration, including consolidation of accounting statements and processes
• Proficiency with Sage Intacct & Salesforce
• Strong project management skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple parties
• Familiarity with managing third party vendors for fulfillment
• Bachelor’s degree with major in accounting or finance required, CPA or MBA a plus
• 5+ years of work experience in accounting or finance preferred
• Goal-oriented, committed to deadlines.
• Strong communications skills
• Collaborative personality enjoys supporting clients, working with others and coaching staff

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
