The Assistant Vice President (AVP), OpenText Exstream Customer Communications Lead is responsible for managing customer communications activities in collaboration with business lines, Marketing, and other partners to advance the customer experience and deliver business objectives.
We are seeking someone who lives in the Norfolk, VA area to work in our office 3x per week.
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
· Experience in designing and developing multi-channel (Print, web/html, email, archive, SMS) customer communications.
· Prior management experience of teams of 5 or more individuals.
· Minimum of 5+ years of utilizing OpenText Exstream Cloud v20.x or higher Composition software, including the design, development and implementation of technical solutions utilizing the tool.
· Hands-on 5+ years of senior level expertise with Exstream output format handling AFP, PDF, HTML
· Experience with OpenText Design Manager, Content Author, and Empower
· Experience with OpenText Notifications is a plus.
· Senior level experience with SQL Server or Oracle SQL with ability to write advanced SQL queries including complex joins and pivot tables, as well as having one or more programming languages.
· Experience working in a highly regulated industry preferred.
· Action-oriented; team player; ability to clearly set work priorities for self and team.
· Strong servant leadership and people skills.
· Bachelor’s Degree or above
Key Responsibilities
· Manage the Company’s written customer communications program to ensure PRA, LLC develops and manages its print and electronic customer communications in a manner consistent with its strategic priorities, vision, and brand.
· Design and deliver appropriate customer communications campaigns that improve frequency, clarity, consistency, and alignment of all customer communications. Distribute all communications using appropriate tactics and channels so they build awareness and meet strategic objectives and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for all written customer communications. Collaborate with senior management, Marketing, IT, Compliance and General Counsel, as well as applicable business line leaders to ensure communication programs are executed on time and with the highest quality to achieve the desired business outcomes.
· Manage and centralize customer communications requests, process, and scheduling. Maintain an internally available centralized request system and communication calendar so that all staff are informed of necessary communications. Enhance the customer communications function by identifying opportunities to strengthen message reach and impact. Leverage best practices and develop short- and long-term strategies to consistently deliver an award-winning customer experience. Continually deepen knowledge of customer communications best practices and make recommendations to senior management on opportunities to enhance strategies, improve processes and automate controls.
· Works with multiple vendors to ensure written communication delivery is safe and compliant with service agreements and business requirements
· Responsible for the creation and maintenance of Policies and Procedures, Technical Documentation and Business Requirement documentation as needed
· Develops letter review, QA and approval processes to ensure that the company is in compliance with all letter-specific regulations and laws at the federal and state levels
· Development of reporting and data to demonstrate compliance, control performance and measure team performance.
· Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
