Located in Park City, UT, The Finance Manager will be an essential member of Woodward Camps Leadership Team, reporting to the Woodward Camps General Manager. The successful applicant will manage and assist in the planning of the business unit’s overall financial plans and operations for the Woodward PA and Woodward West camp locations.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Finance Manager will play a key role in the financial management of Woodward PA and Woodward West. Participates as a member of the Leadership Team with respect to: establishing company goals and policies, overseeing business operations, and ensuring the core values of financial strength, guest loyalty and employee experience are being supported and delivered.
JOB DUTIES:
Attends Leadership Team weekly and quarterly planning meetings and functions as a strategic leader.
Leads all financial reporting, annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, capital planning and financial analysis for the camps.
Provides weekly updates to Leadership Team members on financial performance, trends, and recommended actions.
Follows established company financial controls, policies and procedures.
Is positive and supportive, energetic, enthusiastic, and motivated. Along with the General Manager and other senior leaders, determines annual camp targets. Reviews the annual operating budgets. Participates in executive committee review of overall company budget.
Develops timely forecasts to ensure adherence to the company’s business plan. Holds all others involved accountable for their respective divisions.
CapEx planning and management in conjunction with WW build teams.
Communicates with operational directors and managers – regarding policies and procedures, as well as holding them accountable for their operations’ financial results.
Partner with POWDR to establish and evaluate the company’s system of internal control including accounting systems and the safeguarding of the company’s assets. Establishes and reviews controls over cash and safeguarding of the company’s cash handling operations.
Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual reporting, modeling and analysis as needed for the Leadership Team, and POWDR.
Budget and forecast via Adaptive Planning Software.
Own and manage expenses for Woodward Camps through Coupa tracking software.
Assists with capex planning, ROI analysis, budget preparation and analysis as needed.
Understands and maintains the strictest of confidentiality with regard to information pertaining to Woodward Camps and POWDR.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and learn new skills as needed.
Support operations as needed.

Ability to develop strong relationships with diverse groups of people.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:
3+ years of finance experience.
Four-year college degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting is preferred.
Ability to create and manage corporate budgets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in independently and successfully maintaining financial analytical tools.
Thorough understanding of budgetary and account principles, practices, and policies.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team, and to lead teams in achieving goals.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
A valid driver’s license is required.
Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift up to 50lbs.
Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all season environment.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Willing to travel as needed.
