Position Description: The deputy logistics manager is a management role, responsible for coordinating and managing the program supply chain, materials, storage, warehouse as well as inbound and outbound shipments for the facility. The deputy logistics manager is responsible for scheduling shipments with the logistics manager for the program, with multiple scan vendors, with suppliers and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure the success of our customer’s mission. You will liaise between the logistics, program manager, customers, suppliers, trucking companies and cross-functional internal teams, including site manager and operations manager to ensure the timely and successful delivery of SES offerings according to customer needs. The deputy logistic manager will also be responsible for monitoring the quality of operations as well as quality reporting and metrics.
Responsibilities:
Required Skills:
· BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain and 3 years of logistics management or other relevant experience or 8 years of experience without degree
· Proven working experience in Logistics
· Record of successful distribution and logistics management
· Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
· Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
· Demonstrated ability to communicate and present at all levels of the organization, including executive and Program Manager level
· Candidate must be adaptive and flexible in an ever-changing customer environment
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Pay: $72,000.00 – $91,000.00 per year
