As a Marketing Specialist Senior within PNC’s Brand Marketing organization, you will be based remotely either in Pittsburgh, PA., Cleveland, OH., Philadelphia, PA., Downers Grove, IL, Birmingham, AL, or Houston, TX.
This is a remote position within one of the following markets; Pittsburgh, PA., Cleveland, OH., Philadelphia, PA., Downers Grove, IL, Birmingham, AL, or Houston, TX . Surrounding markets may be considered. In person activities may occur periodically based on business need.
The focus of this role will be:
- Independently supervises, manages and assists in the development of marketing strategies and tactics, both in traditional and digital realms, with an understanding of how these can work together to reach consumers in the most effective way.
- Has the ability to interpret results to inform future communications and infuse consumer insights to create relevant and engaging communications.
- Establish and build relationships while managing expectations across the organization (product, corporate communications, analytics, legal, risk) and outside of it (account, creative and media agency partners)—working as a brand “consultant” to develop marketing initiatives in an effective way.
- Manage the process of digital content creation by selecting article pitches aligned with brand initiatives, providing feedback to writers and optimizing content based on SEO guidance to reach a final product.
- Overall, exhibiting an eagerness to learn and think critically and having an excitement for the ever-changing nature of marketing to help drive PNC forward is the type of individual we are seeking.
- Specific areas of marketing focus include overarching brand messaging, financial education, and community development banking initiatives.
Job Description
Independently supervises, manages and assists in the development of aspects of marketing program execution.
Leverages a strong comprehension of Marketing strategies in order to positively inform execution of programs/projects.
Develops and executes more complex Marketing programs/ projects, strategies and activities that may include advertising, sales content and internal communications. Proactively collects and synthesizes data. Assembles trends. Helps identify strategic and tactical implications.
Acts as a liaison to agencies, third parties or internal business partners to coordinate development and execute on their behalf.
Oversees activities including coordination with legal, compliance, invoicing, budget management and process workflows.

Project Management – Ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources, to achieve project objectives.
Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
