POSITION: Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis
RESPONSIBLE TO: VP of Finance
Compensation: $73,130.00-$89,610.00
SUMMARY: This role functions as a strategic financial leader, supporting the Controller, and also as strategic leader in budgeting and analytics, while supporting the implementation of strategic goals. Leads on Budget activities for the Agency, while supporting policy and procedure through the budgeting and financial model process
This position is salaried, exempt.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and Master’s Degree strongly preferred or equivalent. 4 years experience at a similar position working with budgets and analytics. Knowledge in forecasting, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, cost-benefit analysis and budgeting while contributing to critical functions relating to PPRM’s finance and growth strategies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist with the collaboration process between Finance, all department heads and budget managers to develop annual budgets and monthly re-forecasts
Perform analysis, build models, and drive process related to debt and equity financings, customer deal pricing, cost saving initiatives, and other business strategy
Design financial models and improve existing models including new project business cases (valuation), overall P&L, cash forecast, equity calls schedule and ad-hoc analysis.
Support the preparation of presentations of monthly/quarterly reporting
Maintain and improve detailed budget models.
Financial liaison for meeting the company’s budget targets while balancing the department heads’ business requirements
Perform detailed business analytics and prepare key performance indicators (KPl’s)
Prepare analysis and materials for internal review and regular updates to the VP of Finance and Controller.
Identify areas of improvement in FP&A processes and systems, make recommendations and drive implementations
Make data-driven recommendations to the VP of Finance and Controller regarding the company’s strategic objectives, particularly for capital allocation decisions and financial planning
