Pinnacle Talent Solutions is looking for a highly motivated, innovative, Business Development professional to anchor our client’s commercial ground up build new business efforts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 7 years’ of industry relationship building and a strong knowledge of commercial construction, its bid process and stake holders. Syracuse based opportunity with minimal travel! Full time role with benefits.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business
- Expand the business’ current footprint both geographically and market wise
- Identify appropriate opportunities via bidding platforms, networking and other prospecting activity
- Accurately review construction documents and contracts
- Navigate the entire sales process from identification through close of sale
- Maintain business development efforts and details in CRM
Requirements
- Degree in construction management, business or related field preferred
- Minimum 7 years in construction industry
- Minimum 5 years in business development or similar role
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, including creating and delivering presentations
- General industry knowledge of management, marketing, operations and finance
- Ability to negotiate while maintaining good relationships
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
