Responsible for creating and delivering development and talent management programs and solutions
across the organization through coaching, consulting, and training. Works with colleagues to support
organization wide initiatives, carry out the Talent Development & Learning strategy, and assess
opportunities for continued growth and development of leaders, employees, and teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coaching/Internal Consultant: Provide coaching for high performing leaders, executive leaders and
debrief of 360 assessments. Serves as an internal consultant to HRBP’s, SME’s and other internal
clients to understand business needs and performance gaps through department needs assessment
process.
2. Program Management: Independently manages a variety of programs & projects, including
prioritization, design, development, reviews with SME(s), implementation, adherence to budget and
meeting deadlines to address identified organizational needs.
3. Metrics: Define and measure programs using metrics/ROI that measure success and sustainability of
programs.
4. Organizational Knowledge: Demonstrates an advanced level knowledge of organizational processes,
customers and business units. Ability to work effectively to build relationships in a Matrix environment
with a high-level customer service attitude.
5. Integration: Takes a lead role in the integration of newly acquired entities including relationship
building, project management, content development and delivery.
6. Strategy: Collaborates with Talent Development & Learning to develop strategies to address
immediate and future organizational needs.
7. Follow-Up: Analyze participant feedback/behaviors to evaluate learning programs for desired
outcomes. Utilizes feedback to initiate programs changes, refinements and improvements. Provides
post-training follow-up and learner desk-side support as needed.
8. Facilitation: Delivers a variety of content to various size groups and varying levels of employees along
the Piedmont pathway.
9. Nimble: Ability to lead and manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously and adaptable to
frequently changing priorities.
10. Travel: Ability to travel between assigned entities as needed up to 3 days per week. Overnight stay
requirement is minimum.
11. Testing: Participates in testing/validation of new or enhanced systems applications as part of the
preparation process to deliver learning programs.
12. Client Knowledge: Clear understanding of generational differences and how it applies to various
learning platforms and delivery methods.
13. Team Player: Provides regular updates to Talent Development & Learning management concerning
the status of all projects. Supports other L&D Specialists for the good of the team and the
organization.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Human Resource Development or related field required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five (5) years of experience in training content development and delivery experience, program and
project management, and leading learning interventions required.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in healthcare preferred.
DDI Facilitation certification or CPLP credential is a plus.
Assessment Certification (EQ-I, Hoga, Myers Briggs, Leadership Circle etc.) preferred
