Property Accountant/Financial Manager

Prestigious real estate/investment conglomerate (Position located in West Palm Beach, FL) now seeks degreed entrepreneur with 6+ years (Yardi and QuickBooks a must) handling diverse property accounting/reporting as well as analytical functions for both residential and commercial portfolios and investment entities. Position acts as an important contributor and advisor for this combination of hands-on management role. Communicate with Controller, CFO and real estate investment team. Provide day to day accounting and financial reporting as it relates to diverse real estate portfolios including lease abstracts, escalation schedules and CAM billing and cash reconciliation. Generate monthly closings and consolidated financial statements. Must have strong leasing, escalation and property management expertise. Position will also involve budget, strategic planning and forecasting as well as variance analysis. Interface with external auditors during year-end review. Calculate and track recoveries including CAM, real estate taxes and percentage rent. Generate, review and analyze monthly rental charges. Responsible for monthly, quarterly, annually filing of compliance reports online (withholding, sales tax) and process annual 1099 forms. Responsible for recording of financial and transactional entries for diverse portfolio entities; including AP, AR, utilizing Yardi and QuickBooks. Responsible for all property revenue and expenses as well reviewing all bills. Generate property spreadsheets with tenant specific analytics. Act as solutions and policies and procedures expert. Work closely with outside auditors and IT division. Implement and improve existing accounting controls and create more efficient processes. Ability to multitask, strong organizational and communications skills and attention to detail skills. MS Suite.
