The Finance Manager will serve as the Field Force and Operations Business Finance Partner for the Specialty Care and Oncology Business Units. The Finance Manager will provide financial leadership, business consultation, and analytical support to sales leaders across these business units. The Finance Manager will also serve as the primary contact on all finance related questions, analyses, and deliverables for his/her Field Force as well as Operations category teams.
Role Responsibilities
Field Force and Business Operations Management
Develop and maintain effective relationships with Finance and Commercial Leaders as well as decision- making roles within each business unit
Manage execution of quarterly forecasts and annual Operating Plan in collaboration with the Specialty Care and Oncology Finance Directors
Manage day-to-day operations of Field Force therapeutic areas to achieve agreed business objectives
Deliver comprehensive overview of financial performance to Commercial Leadership teams on periodic and ad hoc basis
Lead key accounting activities required at period / quarter close (i.e. expense accruals, compensation assessments, SLA allocations, balance sheet reconciliations)
Analyze and understand run rate trends, business strategies, and aligned Pfizer priorities that drive value for the business
Seek out opportunities for synergy and collaboration to achieve strategic goals
Lead and support development of high functioning cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Marketing)
Share and scale proven practices across multiple business units within Pfizer
Demonstrate a broad range of product knowledge and their competitive environments in order to facilitate performance commentary to management
Lead pull through activities in alignment with Pfizer business leader direction

Required Basic qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
5+ years of finance experience required or 3 years with MBA
Strong Analytical and Excel skills
Demonstrated expertise in analytical modeling
Experience dealing with multiple senior leaders, stakeholders, and operational partners
Advanced relationship management skills
Demonstrated track record of working well across internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree
Prior experience with Microsoft applications, SAP, Mosaic or Lighthouse
Life Sciences industry experience
