Petmeds Hiring for Social Media Manager Job at Remote Full Time

We are seeking a passionate Social Media Manager to lead PetMed’s social media channels. This would include establishing a strategy, crafting a plan, managing cadence and calendar, generating or obtaining organic content, analyzing and presenting results, collaborating with internal teams for additional graphical and video creative, and partnering with our social agency to build, refine, test, and optimize our social ad campaigns.

Our key social channels include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and TikTok. A successful candidate will be adept at working across teams and adaptable to business needs and social media opportunities. He/she must have excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Come join our PetMeds Team and be part of the pack! RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall leadership and management of all PetMeds social media channels including: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Tiktok, and YouTube.
• Build and execute our social media strategy that will drive measurable brand awareness, engagement, activation, and acquisition.
• Plan, prioritize, and calendar all social media organic and promotional activities
• Work across internal creative and promo teams to build out social campaigns
• Partner with customer care on moderation and support issues
• Partner with our social agency in building, executing, testing, optimizing and measuring all social media paid ad campaigns and spend performance
• Develop key metrics to measure success of campaigns that contribute to reactivation, remarketing, awareness, engagement, and acquisition.
• Regularly test new ideas, new approaches utilizing beta products on social media
• Own and execute the overall social media strategy and meet or exceed established quarterly and annual goals.
• Use analytics reporting tool to measure, review and report on weekly social media stats
• Develop concept and create social sweepstakes and weekly giveaways; partner with internal teams on shipping

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED

• 4-6 years of social media experience
• Strong understanding of social media native ad platforms, tools, and KPIs
• Experience with third party social media tracking and performance tools (i.e. Sprout Social, HootSuite)
• Highly organized, communicative, and has a bias for action, including learning by testing
• Priority focused, detail oriented, urgency-based owner with a strong drive for exceeding performance goals
• Ability to collaborate across internal teams (creative, offers, timing, etc) in building out ad campaigns
• Creative and proactive thinker and tinkerer who has a constant flow of great ideas yet has the ability to prioritize and execute. Loves to test new ideas
• A leader who can move articulate high-level strategy, analyze performance, and lead the charge forward

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 4-6 years’ experience overseeing and executing social media content and ad operations for a company and/or client
• Social media experience includes at least three of the following six channels: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Tiktok, and YouTube
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization skills: Ability to manage multiple competing assignments, deal with short timeframes, and prioritize deadlines.
• Insanely curious about any and every aspect of social media including best practices, related technologies, test opportunities, and performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
