Role Summary:
Perfecta is hiring for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to provide overall financial support and work closely with the CFO to help formulate and refine the strategy and financial plans and projections for the business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Working closely with the leadership team to formulate the business’s medium to long term financial and strategic plan
Work with Business Unit heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts
Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors
Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team
Analyzing financial and operational results to better understand company performance
Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost center results
Reviewing operations and recommending new productivity or cost saving initiatives
Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts
Evaluating previous budgets, expenditures to develop and implement future budgets
Communicating results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations
Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability
Lead Tax compliance and filings
Assist with internal and external audits
Assist in contract development
Operational and other duties as assigned
Education:
Bachelor’s in finance, business administration, economics, financial analysis or related field.
Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role.
Strong experience working as a business partner in delivering better decision support and enabling strategic initiatives which help to improve the organization’s financial performance.
Skills & Knowledge:
Excellent analytical skills as well as a strong business acumen.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Significant analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools
Strong quantitative abilities
Able to solve complex problems
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel and other accounting packages
Additional Requirements:
Professional qualification such as CMA, CPA or MBA
