Summary
The primary function of the Inventory Accountant is to ensure that all fuels, both propane and distillates are properly accounted for in the general ledger. This incudes verifying that all payments made by fuel suppliers are reconciled in a timely fashion. The inventory accountant provides feedback on district and regional stock control performance.
Required to put in place and operate a stock reconciliation process by district split between propane and distillates. Close coordination with the Procurement Manager, the AP team, and the customer service teams in the districts.
