Job Description
The Senior Manager, Strategic Account Marketing is instrumental in driving Enterprise pipeline for the business through a hyper-targeted, account-based marketing motion. This position requires a savvy marketer who wants to partner closely with our Named Account Sales Reps to identify, engage and convert target accounts across new and expansion businesses. This role will also partner across marketing functions to find new, disruptive ways of reaching accounts holding the largest revenue opportunity for Payscale.
This role reports into Payscale’s Senior Manager, Demand Gen and is a high impact/high visibility opportunity to join and lead a best-in-class team.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Development:
· Partner with Named Account Sales team and SDR’s to align on the tiering of target accounts, cross channel approach, and messaging to engage and convert
· Build personalized, account-based marketing campaigns targeting identified accounts; both new business and customer renewal/upsell opportunity
· Conceptualize disruptive marketing initiatives to offer relevant product positioning, account value, etc. Ultimately show the personalized value of Payscale as it pertains to the specific account in unique, memorable ways
· Develop multi-media assets, custom to the account, to align with account marketing strategy
· Partner closely with AE’s and SDR’s on ABM persona messaging, to ensure seamless storyline across lead lifecycle
· Refine strategic account experience strategy, inclusive of targeted events, thought leadership forums, executive sponsorship programs, etc.
Campaign Execution:
· Execute multiple account-based campaigns at a time, utilizing various touchpoints
· Analyze account performance and optimize against defined KPIs (contact engagement, reach, days to close, etc) to drive pipeline targets
· Improve targeting with quality scoring system to target buyer and user contacts with behavior, demographic and intent data quality scores
· Nurture target accounts as applicable to derive long term pipeline opportunity and conversions
· Play a key role in running scalable, targeted digital media campaigns, triggering content across a high preforming, relevant channel mix
· Own execution of strategic account events and experiences, both targeted, one-off events as well as extended, personalized invites to larger Payscale experiences (webinars, lunch and learns, etc)
Qualifications
· Have 3- 5years of B2B marketing experience in roles such as Demand Generation, Enterprise or vertical marketing, Account Based Marketing, or paid/website media
· Have a passion for customers, with experience running targeted plays for marketing, SDRs, and AEs to engage target accounts
· Thrive on the ability to keep a real-time pulse on campaigns, continually interpret and apply findings to optimize performance
· Are familiar with marketing automation tools (preferably Marketo), CRM (preferably salesforce.com) web analytics, and business intelligence (preferably Tableau)
· Constantly show your bias toward action; driving results and innovation is your preferred path forward
· Have a bachelor’s degree (preferably in marketing-related field), while continuing to deep dive into market and industry trends, innovative methodologies, etc.
· Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders and key project team members
Additional Information
In the spirit of pay transparency, we’re excited to share the target annual salary for this position is $145,000 as well as eligibility for a 15% company performance bonus. If you’re hired at Payscale, your final compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
