Paul Scott & Associates, PLLC (The Firm) is a small law firm in mid-Michigan with a focus on family law and criminal defense. The Firm has seen sizable and consistent growth in recent few years.
The Firm is looking for a business management professional, to oversee day-to-day operations and procedures. The person will be responsible for the efficiency of The Firm, establishing policies that promote a positive company culture and sustainable business model. The role requires experience in the functions of a small business, ideally a law firm, proven leadership and communication skills, as well as a high level of organization and work ethic.
Responsibilities
– Overseeing day-to-day business operations including relationships with vendors, finances, marketing, website, general office logistics, etc.
– Promoting positive work environment attractive to employees and potential employees
– Managing and setting performance metrics and goals for employees
– Developing internal business structure to maximize The Firm’s efficiency
– Problem solving with solutions-oriented approach
– Implement comprehensive client communication and long-term retention strategy
– Being face of office in community
– Cultivate relationships with other firms with eye toward referrals
Requirements
– Law degree/ degree in business management and/or years of experience running a business
– Experience in managing employees, daily business operations
– Strong work ethic
– Accessibility to employees and clients
– Leadership qualities
