1. Engage residents and connect with them in a genuine, compassionate and memorable way.
2. Know each resident and family member by taking the time to get to know them.

4. Encourage, coach and support team members to inspire compassionate performance and affirm the positive difference their work makes in our customers’ lives. Provide regular, timely performance feedback including completing thorough annual performance evaluations.
5. Orient and train new wellness team members to understand the impact of their role and teach how they can create memorable experiences for our customers.
6. Manage scheduling of all wellness team members; assure staffing levels meet established resident ratios; ensure schedule remains within budgeted hours and manage and approve all overtime hours worked.
7. Manage wellness department by walking around, checking medication drawers in resident apartments with a nurse, randomly auditing resident charts for compliance, checking apartments for cleanliness, talking to team members and building relationships.
8. Create and nurture opportunities that maximize relationships.
9. Manage Quality Assurance for wellness per policy and procedure.
10. Oversee completion of required wellness documentation for resident files: RAI, RSP and quarterly assessment review, nursing admission assessment, and medication self-administration tool.
11. Manage the wellness budget.
