The Senior Manager will perform a crucial role in building and running the new central P+ SVOD Metrics COE team for Paramount International! With the primary focus of reporting and forecasting subscriber and other metrics related to the growing Paramount + and other SVOD brands and collaborating closely with the wider P+ Finance team to incorporate this information into wider financial outputs.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a finance role within a media, entertainment, technology, internet or an adjacent industry, ideally having operated in an international environment. They will also have a dependable track record of excelling in a fast-paced environment.
Roll out and maintain standardised models for forecasting key metrics, providing uniform definitions and methodologies across all regions
Establish efficient and effective financial operations; review of financial and non-financial data, analysis, reporting variances and cause of change to business partners and leaders
Lead P+ metrics COE team responsible for forecasting, monitoring, reporting and analysis of key metrics for all regions, and on a consolidated basis, working closely with the Marketing & Growth team both centrally and in region.
Responsible for building Long Range Plan, Budget and Monthly Forecasts, for the key performance indicators/metrics with accordance with the financial planning and reporting calendar
Detailed insight and analysis to support the business, including frequent reporting of metrics and pacing vs forecast in collaboration with the Business Intelligence and Marketing & Growth teams
Work with the business to constantly identify and monitor risks & opportunities
Coordination with other finance teams where appropriate to provide deeper level of understanding of related drivers both from and to the metrics COE
Ongoing dedication to build uniformity and efficiencies in order to further establish standard processes within the team through coordination with both the Global and International P+ finance team
Mentor and develop skills of teammates, including setting objectives and reviewing performance
Other adhoc project work in support of the International Streaming Leadership and Finance team
Provide holiday and sickness cover as necessary Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree Required
MBA, CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA are preferred Additional Requirments
Experience in digital media, specifically in a subscription-based role, is highly preferred
Strong analytical, communication, presentation and management skills
Commercially focused with a client service approach
Experience of supervising a team, setting objectives and monitoring performance
Confidence in establishing relationships with all levels of management
High level of proficiency in Excel, experience in preparing complex financial models and manipulating large datasets
Exemplary accuracy and attention to detail
