Paramount is looking for a new Manager to join the team! The Manager of FP&A will support the CBS News Digital division and will report to the Director, FP&A. The Manager will assist in ensuring the completeness and integrity of forecasts and budgets, tracking performance, managing monthly operating expenses, and using analysis to assist in driving informed decision making.
This position offers the right candidate an excellent opportunity within a successful and growing global media organization. It will provide multifaceted exposure to the evolving streaming platforms while working within the broader media umbrella of Paramount. Overview and Responsibilities
Build and maintain financial reporting packages and KPI dashboards
Construct strategic beneficial analyses around growth opportunities, expense optimization, and business metrics and to drive better decision and results
Conduct research and analysis into issues and questions raised by leadership team to inform decision-making
Partner with cross-functional teams to help optimize business performance, including identifying trends, gaps, insights and opportunity areas within the business
Drive operational improvements through automation and dashboards
Contribute to large presentations by preparing data and crafting slides
Ad hoc requests and analyses will be frequent Basic Qualifications
At least 5+ years experience in FP&A or equivalent quantitative roles
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics
Advanced Degree a plus Additional Qualifications
Prior experience in digital media, specifically in advertising-free video on demand(AVOD) role, is highly desirable
Proactive, self-starter who takes ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks
Excellent time, project management, and execution skills
Challenges the status quo and brings up new ideas
Strong analytical skills, with an ability to understand and articulate financial data accurately
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Advanced knowledge of Cognos TM1 and Oracle Financials a plus
